Sammlung Goetz

The building, designed especially for the museum by architects Herzog & de Meuron, houses an internationally important collection of contemporary art. The collection's focal points range from the Arte Povera of the 1960s to video and media art and the works of young US and British artists. The corporate design developed by Herburg Weiland for the collection contains references to elements of the architectural language and forms an unmistakable communicative framework for the presentation of the collection works.
